![]() ![]() This took me quite a while to figure out how this works so I decided to make a video mostly as a reminder for a future me. MMD Effects How to make Normal Maps to work with Raycast 1.5.2 this save a shit load of time as all I have to do is swap the image and it looks like a whole new object. in other words is a cheat an illusion of a 3d object. Just in case you don't know what a normal map is, they are a map that tells the program a depth or height value for a flat image, which in turns makes it look like a 3d model without any of that 3d making. So on this one, I recently figure out how to edit the Raycast texture files so that I can add my own normal maps I'm going to keep on making quite a few of these types of videos as time goes by mostly as a personal reminder as I have noticed that I'm doing quite a few different things and if I leave one topic for too long puff I can't remember how to do it again, but if I purposely made a reminder all I need is to pop that video and I don't really need to see it before I get those memories of me making it and over how to do what I wanted to do in the first place. ![]() All alright, not sure if you folks are interested in me posting these how-to videos here on this page. ![]()
